In my opinon The Art of Star Wars Episode 1 is LEGENDARY!  For years I have been coming back to check this book out to see all the amazing work and for inspiration.  It has never let me down!

You get to see lots of AMAZING concpet artists in their prime producing some of the coolest vehical, setting, character and creature art on the planet!  You have Doug ChiangTerryl Whitlatch and Iain McCaig killing it on every page.

In my opinion Doug Chiang proves why he is one of the greatest concept artists of all time.  Every page with Doug Chiang's work makes me want to see more and more!  Be sure to check it out!

"Featuring conceptual illustrations, sequential art, and brilliant, fully-executed paintings, this lavish volume digs deep into the Lucasfilm archives, detailing Episode I's revolutionary use of traditional and high-tech media. Exploring the creative impulse behind all of the astonishing, masterfully crafted designs, inside you'll find"

The second book is also worth checking out if for anything else to see Ryan Church's amazing digital work.  I have not seen the thrid book but I'm sure it rocks too!
